ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS
Cambridge Apartment
A young family living in the Boston metro area needed to refashion their apartment space to work better for day-to-day living as well as more formal entertaining. The simple one-floor apartment was reconfigured to flow from public to private spaces and maximize the natural daylight where most of the daily life took place. Oval and round forms made it possible to assemble the living spaces where they were actually needed. In the end, the spaces appear both formal and casual and all paths are leading toward natural daylight.
